Small single crew cabins, rest rooms and instrument watch rooms on vessels are limited in space, making vertical cabinets and large integrated air conditioners unsuitable and space-consuming. To meet temperature control demands for small independent marine compartments, Winnex Air develops the Marine Wall-Mounted Split Air Conditioner.
It adopts a split layout with wall-hung indoor unit and separate outdoor condenser unit. The slim indoor unit mounts flat on cabin walls without occupying floor space, while the outdoor unit can be flexibly installed on decks or ventilated hull sides. Balancing easy installation and superior marine corrosion resistance, it delivers a cost-effective HVAC solution for yachts, official vessels, fishing boats and small cargo ships.
Product Structure Overview
The complete system consists of two modules: wall-mounted indoor unit and standalone outdoor unit, connected by refrigerant copper tubes and control cables for heat circulation.
The slim indoor unit is mounted on cabin bulkheads, equipped with low-noise cross-flow fans and multi-stage salt mist filters to deliver cooling, dehumidification and electric heating.
Both indoor and outdoor unit casings are constructed of 316L stainless steel with multi-layer enhanced anti-corrosion treatment. The outdoor unit is fitted with marine-grade compressors and anti-corrosion heat dissipation system, mounted on composite shock-absorbing base for open-air or semi-open installation, providing powerful long-term resistance against sea salt fog, rain and sea wind erosion.
All units complete anti-corrosion coating, pressure testing and continuous running test before delivery. Only fixing units and connecting pipelines are required for onboard commissioning.
Six Core Product Advantages
● Slim Wall-Mounted Layout to Maximize Cabin Space
The indoor unit hangs on bulkheads without occupying floor or walkway area, perfectly matching single crew cabins, watch lounges and small instrument rooms of 8–25㎡. The compact body requires minimal hull cutting during installation, greatly cutting shipyard retrofitting costs for both newbuild and refit projects.
● 316L Stainless Steel Full Casing with Double-Layer Anti-Corrosion Treatment
The housings of both indoor and outdoor units are made of 316L stainless steel with passivation and heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating processes, delivering far stronger chloride ion resistance than ordinary carbon steel or 304 stainless steel. Heat exchange fins and fasteners are also upgraded for corrosion resistance, avoiding rust and perforation after long-term navigation in coastal and ocean-going high-salt-fog waters and extending service life significantly.
● Full Marine-Grade Anti-Vibration Structure for Hull Tilting
Compressors feature deep oil sump and double-layer shock absorption, supporting stable operation under ±22.5° heel and ±10° trim, free of pipeline leakage and loose parts under high humidity, heavy salt spray and constant hull vibration.
● Ultra-Low Indoor Noise for Crew Rest & Watchkeeping
All noisy core components including compressors are placed in the outdoor unit. Indoor operating noise is controlled below 45dB, with built-in silencing cotton inside air ducts for soft, quiet airflow. No acoustic disturbance during night shifts or sleeping hours, significantly improving onboard living comfort.
● All-Year Cooling & Heating with Precise Humidity Control
Dual-mode cooling/dehumidification and electric heating fit all sea areas year-round. High-precision temperature control achieves ±2℃ accuracy, paired with self-cleaning antibacterial filters to trap marine dust and salt particles, preventing condensation and mold growth inside cabins.
● Premium Brand Components, Multi-Layer Safety Protection & Customization
Equipped with world-famous marine compressors for stable, energy-saving operation and extended service life. Key electrical parts such as control modules, pressure sensors and circuit breakers are top-tier industrial brands. Integrated high/low pressure, overload, phase loss and liquid slugging protection avoid unexpected shutdown under unstable marine power supply.
Designed, manufactured and inspected in accordance with CCS Rules and SOLAS standards, with marine EMC compliant electrical systems. Custom voltages including 110V/220V/230V 50/60Hz are available, cooling capacity ranges from 1HP to 3HP. ATEX explosion-proof versions are optional for high-risk vessels.
Typical Application Scenarios
Official patrol vessels, leisure yachts, fishing boats, small bulk carriers, coastal supply vessels, offshore wind service crafts. Widely used in single crew cabins, auxiliary wheelhouse lounges, instrument watch rooms, small storage rest rooms and tourist passenger compartments
