In-Row Precision Air Conditioner, also known as row-based cooling unit, is a close-coupled precision cooling device dedicated to high-density data centers and modular computer rooms. Installed vertically between rows of IT server racks, it adopts a horizontal front-supply & rear-return air circulation layout. Different from traditional room-level CRAC units with long-distance air delivery, it sends cold air directly to server inlets to cut airflow path drastically. Matched with hot & cold aisle containment systems, it fundamentally eliminates air mixing, short-circuit airflow and rack hotspots, delivering uniform, stable temperature & humidity control for all IT racks. It has become the mainstream energy-saving thermal management solution for cloud computing, AI computing rooms and pod-based modular data centers.
