Winnex Air Marine Seawater / Fresh Water Cooled Condensing Unit
Winnex Air marine seawater / fresh water cooled condensing unit is developed to meet modern marine engineering requirements, delivering an advanced one-stop marine refrigeration solution. Adopting chlorine-free eco-friendly refrigerant, the unit features high efficiency, outstanding reliability, easy maintenance and low operational cost. Equipped with premium refrigeration components and matched with direct-expansion central air handling units, its cooling capacity reaches up to 800kW, designed for indoor installation onboard vessels.
It supports full and partial load operation modes for optimal cost savings. The twin-screw compressor delivers superior efficiency. Multiple compressor options including screw, scroll and reciprocating types can be flexibly configured according to project demands to achieve high part-load efficiency.
Built for high reliability. Independent refrigerant circuits minimize downtime risk. Multiple compressors serve as mutual backups. Comprehensive protection functions guarantee stable and smooth operation of the whole unit.
High-efficiency shell-and-tube heat exchangers adopt state-of-the-art heat transfer surface design, combining high thermal efficiency with compact footprint. Optimised water-side and refrigerant-side design reduces energy consumption and pipeline fouling. B10 or B30 anti-corrosion cupronickel tubes are available as optional selection for seawater cooled refrigeration units. Seawater condensers can be fitted with SS316L end covers and tube sheets to resist corrosion and extend service life.
High-efficiency oil separation is realised by velocity reduction to separate oil from refrigerant gas via gravity, with mesh pads providing final gas-oil separation before refrigerant enters the condenser. Large internal volume and oil storage capacity grant strong liquid tolerance.
Each unit is equipped with independent refrigerant circuits. All piping is copper tubing with brazed joints. Liquid lines are fitted with field-mounted shut-off valves, and charging ports are arranged on each condenser circuit. Suction line connections are installed at the suction valve of every refrigeration circuit. Filter driers and sight glasses are mounted on each refrigerant circuit.
The direct-expansion condensing unit and air handling unit are controlled by a microprocessor-based control cabinet. The control panel enables system operation control and real-time monitoring of system status, sensors, actuators, relays and switches. The screen displays full operating parameters and running data in detail. Integrated protections cover low temperature, low oil pressure, high & low pressure, electric leakage, compressor overload and phase loss.
The frame is protected by two or three layers of coating, either steel or stainless steel structure. The base is manufactured from hot-dip galvanised steel and finished with durable industrial paint. Protective covers are supplied for motors, controllers and the whole unit during shipment.
