● Evaporation & Heat Absorption (Cooling at Rack Side)
Low-temperature low-pressure liquid refrigerant flows through the evaporator inside the indoor unit. Hot air from server racks is drawn across the evaporator by EC fans, transferring heat to the refrigerant, which vaporizes into low-temperature low-pressure gas. Cooled air is discharged horizontally directly to server air inlets to dissipate heat generated by IT hardware.
● Compression & Pressure Boost (Energy Accumulation)
Gaseous refrigerant enters the variable-frequency compressor, which compresses it into high-temperature high-pressure gas, trapping all heat absorbed from the server room inside the refrigerant.
● Air-Cooled Condensation (Heat Rejection Outdoors)
High-temperature high-pressure refrigerant is conveyed via copper pipes to the outdoor air-cooled condenser. Outdoor fans continuously blow ambient air over condenser fins, allowing the refrigerant to release all captured heat to the outside atmosphere and condense back into high-pressure liquid refrigerant at normal temperature.
● Throttling & Temperature Reduction (Cycle Reset)
High-pressure liquid refrigerant passes through an electronic expansion valve for pressure reduction, turning back into low-temperature low-pressure liquid and re-entering the indoor evaporator to start a continuous refrigeration cycle.
Temperature & humidity control logic: When room humidity exceeds the set value, the evaporator temperature drops to condense moisture from air for dehumidification. If humidity is too low, the electrode humidifier module activates to replenish water vapor, maintaining stable temperature and humidity all year round.
Optional refrigerant pump free cooling version: In spring, autumn and winter with low outdoor ambient temperature, the compressor stops running. The refrigerant pump drives natural refrigerant circulation for heat exchange without compression power consumption, greatly reducing the data center PUE.
Close-range hot & cold air exchange with four-phase refrigerant cycle for heat absorption and rejection. Outdoor unit dissipates heat via ambient air without chilled water system. Variable frequency technology realizes precise temperature & humidity control, and refrigerant pump free cooling can be activated in cold seasons for energy saving.
