Winnex Air Marine & Offshore Packaged Rooftop HVAC Unit
Product Overview
The Winnex Air Marine & Offshore Packaged Rooftop HVAC Unit is purpose-built for harsh offshore environments including offshore oil & gas platforms, ocean-going vessels, skid-mounted offshore cabins and remote offshore control rooms, complying with ISO 15138 offshore HVAC requirements. This all-in-one packaged unit integrates cooling, heating, ventilation and air handling. Designed for 460V/60Hz marine power supply and T3 high ambient temperature classification, it delivers reliable continuous operation under tropical high-temperature solar exposure.
To combat salt spray, high humidity, UV radiation and vibration in marine environments, the two core models KT-16LW and KT-45LW adopt copper tube & copper fin condenser, copper tube & aluminum fin evaporator with electrophoretic anti-corrosion coating. The casing is constructed from galvanized steel plate finished with marine anti-corrosion paint. This dual anti-corrosion system protects heat exchangers from marine atmospheric corrosion, reducing coil perforation and refrigerant leakage and extending service life in offshore sites.
The product portfolio includes two main models: KT-16LW (14kW cooling capacity) and KT-45LW (45kW cooling capacity). The stepped cooling capacity covers small & medium cabins up to large offshore control rooms, delivering stable climate control for crew accommodation, equipment rooms and skid shelters.
Core Advantages
● T3 High Temperature Rated for Tropical Offshore Operation
Classified for T3 high ambient temperature conditions. The unit maintains stable performance under intense solar heat load, preventing capacity derating and high-pressure overload trips, suitable for 24/7 continuous operation on equatorial, tropical offshore platforms and seagoing vessels.
● 460V/60Hz Marine Power for Global Offshore Projects
Factory configured for 460V/60Hz power, fully compatible with power systems of offshore platforms and ocean-going vessels across North America, Middle East and Southeast Asia. No external frequency converter required, ready for direct commissioning for global EPC projects.
● Electrophoretic Coated Heat Exchangers Against Salt Spray Corrosion
Condenser with copper tube & copper fin, evaporator with copper tube & aluminum fin, all coils treated with electrophoretic anti-corrosion coating. Galvanized steel casing plus anti-corrosion paint finish. It preserves heat transfer efficiency while resisting marine electrochemical corrosion, solving the common offshore HVAC failure of corroded coils and refrigerant leaks and cutting on-site maintenance frequency.
● Wide Static Pressure Options for Ducting Flexibility
KT-16LW provides 2800m³/h airflow and 200Pa external static pressure for small & medium enclosed cabins. KT-45LW delivers 9200m³/h airflow and high 500Pa external static pressure to support long and complex ductwork for large offshore spaces. Cooling capacity 14kW /45kW and heating capacity 15kW /48kW deliver sufficient heating and cooling to offset large temperature swings and high humidity offshore.
● Dual Refrigerant Options R410A / R407C, Marine Environmental Compliance
Supports R410A and R407C refrigerants, complying with international marine environmental regulations. Optimized rated power consumption for economical long-term continuous operation for unmanned offshore installations.
● Packaged Rooftop Construction, Simple Installation & Service
Factory pre-assembled packaged rooftop unit with superior weather tightness to block rainwater and seawater splash. Standard return air, supply air openings and unified DN32 drain connection simplify site installation and shorten offshore construction timeline. Reinforced anti-vibration structure withstands continuous vibration from vessel navigation and platform operation. Complete electrical protection: max operating current 12A for KT-16LW and 32A for KT-45LW, with overload & short-circuit protection to support unattended operation.
